Deck Rehabilitation/ Replacement of the Suspended Spans at the Throgs Neck Bridge

As a sub-consultant to Parsons Brinckerhoff, Inc. (PB), AEA is currently providing structural design services for Contract TN-49 – Deck Rehabilitation/Replacement of the Suspended Spans at the Throgs Neck Bridge, During the initial phase, AEA performed review of previous inspection reports, a visual inspection and condition evaluation of all existing Signage System, Sign Structures and Electrical/Lighting system on the Throgs Neck Bridge and on Queens and Bronx Approaches. AEA prepared and submitted an Investigation Reports, Design Briefs and recommendations to the TBTA. Also, AEA prepared Sign Layout Plans, General Plans and Elevations and Structural Details for Sign Structures, AEA also prepared Sign Text Data Sheet, and preliminary design plans submitted to TBTA for review. Also, AEA performed final design and prepared final contract plans for the one (1) Overhead Sign Structure at Bronx Anchorage, and submitted to TBTA/PB for the included under Construction Contract TN-60.
