History

AEA was established in 2004 as a civil engineering firm with a focus in performing ITS, traffic and electrical engineering designs. We quickly established ourselves as one of the premier providers of transportation infrastructure design services in the tri-state area.

Since then, we have expanded to a full-service engineering firm capable of providing a wide range of professional services, including Highway and Traffic Engineering, Structural Engineering, Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Engineering, Lighting and Electrical Engineering, Utility Coordination, Environmental and Water Resources, Survey and Mapping, Communication Design, MEP, Site Security, and Construction Management.

We have worked in partnership with many leading transportation firms in the area, and our staff now consists of 70+ employees with technical backgrounds in various disciplines. We have worked with different agencies in the tri-state area such as NJDOT, NJTA, PANYNJ, NJ TRANSIT, MTA, DRJTBL, PennDOT and PTC.
