BIM Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  1. Develop and implement the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  2. Provide training, mentorship and support to project team members and junior BIM Specialist.
  3. Define and enforce BIM Standards, workflows and best practices for the project team.
  4. Facilitate BIM coordination meetings with architects, engineers, and trade partners to resolve issues before construction. Work closely with MEP team to ensure accurate integration of design components.
  5. Manage the federated model, perform clash detection, and help resolve design conflicts using Navisworks, Revit, or similar tools.
  6. Stay up to date with BIM advancements, AI-driven construction tools and automation trends.
  7. Evaluate and implement new tools, workflows, and integrations to optimize efficiency in design and construction.
  8. Manage onboarding, training, and digital solution mobilization, ensure efficient information delivery. Oversee task teams, monitor progress, and address any delays promptly.
  9. Monitor modelling performance and conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with firm and clients’ standards.
  10. Support the design and construction team with RFI resolution, design changes and constructability reviews.
  11. Perform the foregoing using BIM software including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360, and Management software i.e. Procore, MS Project, Autodesk Construction Cloud. Emerging technology i.e. Scan-to-BIM, and Laser Scanning.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Related Field and 5 years of experience in job offered or 5 years of experience in the Related Occupation.

  7. Evaluated and implemented new tools, workflows, and integrations to optimize efficiency in design and construction.
  8. Managed onboarding, training, and digital solution mobilization, ensured efficient information delivery. Oversaw task teams, monitored progress, and addressed any delays promptly.
  9. Monitored modelling performance and conducted quality audits to ensure compliance with firm and clients’ standards.
  10. Supported the design and construction team with RFI resolution, design changes and constructability reviews.
  11. Performed the foregoing using software including Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, MS Project and other Visualization tools including 3D Max and Sketchup.

JOB TIME:                              Full Time

SALARY RANGE: $150,301.00 to $152,000.00/year
